SEDBERGH BOOK FESTIVAL 5-7th October 2018

Nanna Strawberry will be situated in Sedbergh Public Library from 10am 6th October,
for as long as I wish, so up to 3pm after which I will be joining my family for my 83rd birthday tea
 party in SMATT'S DUO.

Heather advises me I can choose my own programme for the day which will please me immensely !
So please pop in to meet me, browse through my collection of 10 Nanna Strawberry books,
ask as many questions as you wish, and perhaps join in a role play from time to time.

A special role play for the 65th Jubilee of the Coronation, 1953, is the memorable moment
on 6th February 1952 that school children throughout Great Britain were asked to stand to receive
the sad news that King George Sixth had died early that morning. Our new Queen Elizabeth II
was rushing home from Kenya where she had been representing her father, the King, on an official
 visit.

This historic moment in my  life as schoolgirl  Audrey Greenbank was  recorded in my 1952 diary
and again 66 years later in Book 6 of Nanna Strawberry Stories by Audrey Wilson,  under the title
'Nanna Strawberry Remembers The Young Queen ...and schooldays.'..

We do acquire a lot of different names and relationships throughout our lives!
Those shown here are my titles as daughter, pupil, wife and great grandmother.  I also acquired the
titles of granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, Mummy, Mum, Mother-in-law, daughter-in-law,
Nanna Audrey,.(by 9 grandchilden) and Nanna Strawberry (great grandchildren Sophie, Olivia,
Lyla).and lifelong Friend to many mutual friends throughout my life..

I am really looking forward to Sedbergh Book Festival and hope to attend some events.by other authors.
