My first attempt at publishing

I revised each one to the appropriate word count, then double spaced the typing of each story so I could send a set to a publisher for their observations.  They were returned twice with very encouraging remarks to keep trying until I found a publisher who favoured anecdotal themes. Then I saw an advertisement which I thought would fit the bill very nicely, where I could hand over my stories to a professional publisher and avoid the hassle and uncertainty of self publishing. I proceeded to this with book one in Spring 2016, paying monthly instalments for the privilege, because they considered it had great potential, and I am STILL awaiting publication of that book !  One does not have that time to waste at my age. So I am hoping that the self publishing route will return control to me, the author, and allow the first and subsequent Nanna Strawberry story books reach book lovers everywhere, especially those wanting gifts for much loved children in their family. I am hopeful they will offer both fun and stimulus for new experiences across the generations within family life. Besides, I have enjoyed recording precious occasions with the children in my life. I invite readers to add their own precious memoirs in the telling of the tale.
